Me & My Grief Boxes - Various Ages

The Me and My Grief Toolkit has been designed to encourage creativity and help to develop a sense of calm when a child has experienced a bereavement. It's helps children and young people to use their imagination and get creative whilst having fun on the tasks inside. We hope this box will help 'you and yours' to open up and have meaningful and important conversations around grief.  

This Me and My Grief Toolkit box includes: 

• A starter resource  - This is to encourage engagement and develop a sense of calm in preparation to focus on the core activities. An opportunity to use imagination and creation.

• 3 core activities - All exploring themes around a child's wellbeing including, self-esteem, growth and recognising emotions.

• An ending resource – This is to ensure a comfortable ending and offers something fun and positive to close.

This toolkit comes in two age groups listed below: 

Ages 4-10 - This box is ideal for primary school ages. 

Ages 11-16 - This box is ideal for secondary school ages.
