Why me and my?
We're passionate about empowering families and supporting children and young people. All of our boxes, resources and activities have been hand-selected and packed by us. Using our professional experience and theoretical knowledge of children's development, wellbeing, grief and trauma, we bring our "Me and My" boxes to you.
Our Story So Far...
We want to tell you our story
With some sentences that happen to rhyme
Maybe it will make you remember us?
I guess we’ll find out in time....
Two thousand and sixteen, the start of our journey
Our career paths crossed for the first time,
Four years later and our paths have continued
Only now they follow a different sign
Two mums, one passion
That’s us you see, if you saw us you’d never guess
Most people wouldn’t think we would feel so strongly about grief
And would assume we’d prefer ‘those shoes’ or ‘that dress’
We’ve worked in bereavement for quite some time
And have supported many families through grief
We feel so strongly that children and young people should be heard
And support for them should be anything but brief
Now let’s quickly jump to present day
What a scary, strange year this has been?!
Lots of difficult stories to hear
And many adaptations due to Covid-19
These changes sparked a new idea for us
So many children unable to access support
‘Let’s make some boxes’ one said to the other
And now our story continues on that thought
So here we are, our boxes are ready!
Come and walk this new path with us
Whether it’s the journey of grief or general wellbeing
We do hope they help because...
We understand the importance of managing emotions
And how difficult life can be
Let us be that support, we would be hugely honoured
